Techno and experimental clubs in Turin
The Turin rooms we follow for techno and experimental electronic music: what each one is, where it is, and where to find its next nights.
Turin has a small but serious circuit for techno and experimental electronic music: a handful of rooms, most of them in former industrial buildings, and a festival that has taken over the city every autumn since 2002. These are the places whose nights we follow and announce.
In short
- Bunker, Barriera di Milano, north Turin: a large post-industrial site, techno first.
- Q35 Warehouse, Lungo Dora Firenze: a warehouse opened in 2024 for international techno.
- Azimut, via Modena: a historic club, techno, house and experimental sounds.
- Audiodrome, Moncalieri: a former factory just south of the city, harder techno and live shows.
- Hiroshima Mon Amour, via Carlo Bossoli: a cultural association since 1986, concerts and live electronics.
- C2C Festival, every year at the turn of October and November.
The next nights in all of them are on our Turin page, updated as they are announced.
Bunker
Variante Bunker opened in 2012 in Barriera di Milano, a working-class district in the north of Turin (the name refers to the old road to Milan, not the city). The site grew around a First World War air-raid shelter and a former bearings factory; the main warehouse holds up to two thousand people. Techno is the core of the programme, with international guests and long nights; in summer the same site hosts sport and open-air events.
Q35 Warehouse
Q35 Warehouse is a warehouse on Lungo Dora Firenze 131/A, by the Dora river, opened in 2024 and dedicated to underground dance music. It runs on an L-Acoustics K3 system and hosts much of the city's international techno, often with outside promoters.
Azimut
Azimut is one of Turin's historic clubs: a brick building at via Modena 55, in the Aurora district, that has welcomed clubbers since the 1980s, long before the area changed. Its nights move across techno, with room for house and more experimental sounds.
Audiodrome
Audiodrome is in Moncalieri, just south of Turin, at Strada Mongina 9, inside a former factory. It started with the city's rock scene and now programmes techno, hard techno and house as well as concerts. You need a car or a night bus to get there.
Hiroshima Mon Amour
Hiroshima Mon Amour is a cultural association founded in 1986. Since 1997 it has been in a former primary school at via Carlo Bossoli 83, in the south of the city: two halls, about a thousand square metres, with concerts, live electronics and club nights.
C2C Festival
C2C Festival, also known as Club To Club, was founded in 2002 and takes place every year in Turin between late October and early November. It calls itself avant-pop: electronic, experimental and pop music across several venues, with the main nights at Lingotto Fiere and events at OGR Torino.
Dates and line-ups change: always check the venue before you go. For the rest of Italy and nearby, see the agenda.
